- 300 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 200 g marzipan
- 100 g ground almonds
- 300 g butter
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 egg yolk
- Cake icing
- Sprinkles, colorful
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Combine the flour, sugar, and almonds in a bowl. Tear the marzipan into small pieces and add them. Now add the egg, egg yolk, and butter to the flour mixture. Quickly knead everything into a shortcrust pastry. Refrigerate the dough for at least an hour. Then roll it out between cling film and cut out any desired shapes. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 175 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 10 to 12 minutes. Once cooled, brush with melted chocolate coating and immediately sprinkle with sprinkles. Makes about 5 trays. Storage: Tin can.
