Colorful savoy cabbage stew with minced meat

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 250 g potatoes
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 small savoy cabbage
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 liter of broth
  • 200 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel and chop the onions and garlic. Peel and dice the potatoes. Trim and finely chop the vegetables. Heat the oil in a large pot and fry the minced meat with the onions and garlic for 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and fry. Deglaze with the stock and add the vegetables. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them along with the basil. Season with salt and pepper. Tip: Tastes even better after letting them sit for a day!
