Colorful vegetable casserole

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup of cream, 200 g
  • 4 m.-sized potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • ½ head of cauliflower
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 150 g peas
  • e.g. milk
  • 200 g cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Wash the vegetables and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cook the potatoes, carrots, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower for about 10 minutes until tender. Then place the vegetables in a casserole dish. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour, and stir with the cream and spices until creamy. Add milk, if desired. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce, tomatoes, peas, and cheese over the vegetables. Bake the casserole at 180°C for about 45 minutes.
