Potato gratin

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g potatoes
  • 250 ml oat cream (Oat Cream Cuisine) or soy cream
  • 250 ml sour cream, vegan (oat or soy cuisine)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp vegetable stock powder
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • e.g. margarine, vegan

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

vegan, vegetarian, simple, without animal products

Grease a gratin or casserole dish with margarine. Peel and finely chop the garlic clove, and spread it in the dish. Peel and clean the potatoes, then slice them (this works best with a cucumber slicer). Layer the potato slices in the dish. Mix the cream and Cuisine. Add the breadcrumbs. Season generously with the vegetable stock, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour the mixture evenly over the potatoes. Finally, scatter margarine flakes over the gratin. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 60 minutes.
