Colorful wheels – cookies with boiled and raw egg yolk

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 egg yolks, boiled
  • 3 egg yolks, raw
  • 150 g butter, soft
  • 70 g powdered sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Sugar sprinkles, colorful, chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Mash the cooked egg yolk with a fork. Mix with the raw egg yolk, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar until a creamy dough forms. Now add the flour and baking powder and continue stirring. Then shape the dough into a roll and place it on cling film. Sprinkle the sprinkles to the left and right of the rolling pin on the cling film. Roll the roll over the sprinkles so that the sprinkles stick to the entire dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for a short time. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). Cut 0.5-1 cm thick slices from the rolling pin and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the colorful wheels for 10-15 minutes.
