Colorful winter tarte flambée with Brussels sprouts and red onion

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of tarte flambée dough from the refrigerated section or homemade
  • 250 g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 small onion(s), red
  • ½ bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 100 g bacon cubes
  • 150 g sour cream
  • n. B. Herbs to taste
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 17 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

Clean and halve the Brussels sprouts. Then sauté them for 5 minutes in a broth made from water, salt, and herbs (e.g., rosemary, oregano, caraway, etc.). In the meantime, mix the sour cream with salt and pepper, roll out the tarte flambée dough, and spread it with the seasoned sour cream. Then arrange the Brussels sprout halves, diced bell peppers, onion rings, and bacon cubes on the dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (fan oven) for about 12 minutes until lightly golden brown.
