Comfrey rolls

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 10 leaves of comfrey, large
  • 5 tbsp diced ham
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Clean and blanch the comfrey leaves. If necessary, pound the stems with a meat tenderizer until soft. Combine all other ingredients into a paste. Place 2 tablespoons of the mixture on each leaf. Fold the overlapping long sides of the comfrey leaves over the leaves and form them into rolls. Secure with skewers, if necessary. Perfect for pan-frying or grilling.
