Chilean hot dog with sausage, tomatoes, avocado and mayonnaise filled bun, very popular and widespread in Chile

Cut the tomatoes crosswise and pour boiling water over them, then peel them with a kitchen knife. Remove the seeds, dice finely, add 1 teaspoon of olive oil, season lightly with salt and pepper, and set aside. Pour boiling water over the sausages and let them stand (do not boil). Halve the avocado, remove the pit, mash the flesh with a fork, add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of olive oil, and a little salt and pepper, and mix. Cut the side of the bun lengthwise, but not all the way through (about 2/3), and place a drained sausage inside. Place half of the tomatoes on top, then spread half of the avocado cream on top (if there’s too much, the cream makes a delicious spread!). Top with mayonnaise to make the hot dog “completo” (complete) and an Italian-style hot dog (colors of the flag: tomato, avocado, mayonnaise). Depending on the eater’s taste, the hot dog is further enhanced with ketchup and/or mustard. I was surprised not to find the recipe for the tastiest hot dog ever here at Chefkoch.de! I had to change that immediately.
