Confectionery: Chocolate Talers with Bite

The perfect confectionery: chocolate talers with bite recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Dark chocolate
  • 4 piece Egg yolk
  • 150 g Sugar brown
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 75 g Butter
  • 50 g Walnut kernels
  • 50 g Unsalted peanuts
  • 50 g Cashew nuts
  1. Coarsely chop all types of nuts.
  2. Crush the chocolate and let it melt in a water bath.
  3. Put the four egg yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar in a saucepan and stir constantly over a very low heat until the sugar has dissolved and a thick, light yellow cream has formed. Now dissolve the flakes of butter in it.
  4. As soon as the melted chocolate and egg cream are at the same temperature, mix them well together.
  5. Finally add the nuts and fold in.
  6. Let the mass set a little. Then pile them on a sufficiently large piece of cling film and shape into a roll. Chill after a few hours, cut about 0.5 cm thick slices and hide in a cool place.
  7. ATTENTION: There is a risk of addiction, because even those who disregard chocolate do not leave these slices behind, even if they look like blood sausage. 😉
