Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g cheese (Handkäse – Harzer Roller)
  • 150 g processed cheese
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Melt the butter, add the chopped hand cheese, and let it melt. Then add the processed cheese and sour cream, stir well, and heat until creamy. Season with caraway seeds and, if desired, nutmeg. Tastes best served warm on fresh dark bread! This recipe also works well in the microwave. The ingredients should be at room temperature.
