Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g wheat flour type 405
- 250 g butter, soft
- 150 g sugar
- 2 m.-sized egg(s)
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 1 lemon(s), zest
- 1 pinch of salt
- 200 g almonds, halved
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
First, sift the flour. Add the softened butter, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, one egg, salt, and lemon zest, stirring constantly. If you don’t have a stand mixer, use a hand mixer with a dough hook. Place the finished dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then roll it out, cut out cookies, and place the cut-out cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Beat the second egg and brush the cookies with it. Then press half an almond onto each cookie and bake at 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 10 minutes.
