The perfect cooking: köfte – turkish meatballs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Fresh minced beef
- 1 Fresh onion
- 2 disc Whole grain toast
- 0,5 bunch Fresh smooth parsley
- 1 Egg
- Paprika pulp (Ajvar)
- Salt
- Garlic powder
- Crushed red pepper
- Oil
- Peel the onions (better to use 2 pieces for small ones) and chop or cut into small pieces. Soak slices of toast in water and then squeeze out. Chop the parsley or use the scissors to cut into small pieces.
- Mix the minced meat with the onion, bread, parsley and egg.
- Then season to taste. We take about 2 tbsp ajvar, 2 tsp salt, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp Pul Biber. But since everyone has a different taste, also in terms of spiciness, you should always season individually.
- Knead everything together thoroughly. Shape this mixture into long meatballs. (depending on size approx. 20 pieces)
- Put the oil in a pan and fry the köfte on all sides.
