Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 vegetable onion(s), finely diced
  • 2 cans of corn (280g each), drained
  • 1 bunch of chives, cut into fine rings
  • 100 g sweet cream
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (herb vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp mustard, hot
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

In a bowl, mix the chopped onion with the drained corn. Sprinkle the ingredients with the chives. For the dressing, whisk the cream with the vinegar, mustard, garlic, and mayonnaise until fluffy. Season with sugar, salt, and a little pepper. Pour everything over the salad ingredients and mix well. Let it sit in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes, then season again briefly. Tip: Perfect for grilling and any hearty meat or ground meat dishes (roast pork, pork knuckle, ribs, meatballs, meatloaf, etc.). It’s also quick and easy to make while camping.
