Cornflakes Ice Cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml whipped cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • 100 g sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g cornflakes, sweetened
  • 100 g cornflakes, unsweetened
  • 1 egg(s), organic

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 20 minutes

Mix the cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, egg, and salt. Add the cornflakes and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Then pour the mixture into a sieve, collect the liquid, and pour it into the ice cream maker. After about 8 minutes, you should have the desired result. Freeze for at least 6-8 hours, or preferably overnight. Remove from the freezer 20 minutes before serving to prevent it from getting too hard. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, remove it from the freezer and stir it occasionally while it’s freezing to prevent it from crystallizing too much.
