Cottage Cheese Apple Pie
The perfect cottage cheese apple pie recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- For the dough:
- 250 g Flour
- 125 g Sugar
- 125 g Cold butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 pinch Salt
- For the crowd:
- 500 g Curd cheese 20%
- 250 g Mascarpone
- 4 Eggs
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla pudding
- 1 packet Lemon zest
- 3 Apples Elstar
- Cinnamon sugar
- Make a shortcrust pastry from cold butter, flour, sugar, egg and a pinch of salt. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Mix the quark, mascarpone and sugar in a bowl until creamy. Add the eggs and stir in well. Finally stir in the vanilla pudding and lemon zest. Remove the core from the apples and cut into small cubes. Sprinkle the apple cubes with cinnamon sugar and mix everything together. Add the apple cubes to the mixture and fold in.
- Roll out the dough in the prepared springform pan and pull up an approx. 3 cm high edge. Pour the mixture onto the dough and smooth it out. Place the cake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees (top-bottom heat) and bake for about 60 minutes. After the baking time, take it out of the oven, let it cool down in the tin for 30 minutes, remove the rim and let it cool down.
