Finger food made in a flash

Line a baking sheet with baking paper, preheat oven to 200°-210°C, and prepare the puff pastry. Wash and finely chop the herbs, then mix them with the cottage cheese and cheese. Season generously with pepper, a little salt, and seasonings to taste. Whisk the eggs and add them to the mixture. Spread everything onto the puff pastry sheet and roll up from the long side. Cut the roll into approximately 3 cm thick slices, carefully place the slices on the prepared baking sheet, press the snails into shape if desired, and bake in the oven for approximately 30-35 minutes. Tip: Instead of grainy cream cheese, you can use regular cream cheese or ricotta. You can get a really clever twist by adding chives or wild garlic as herbs. You can also mix 100 g of cooked ham or bacon cubes into the mixture. The snails are delicious both hot and cold.
