Couscous and mince wraps

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 500 g minced meat
  • ½ can corn
  • ½ can mushrooms
  • 125 g couscous
  • 130 ml water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • some butter
  • pepper
  • curry
  • Salt
  • 1 package of wrap(s) (tortilla wraps)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Bring 130 ml of water and a tablespoon of oil to a boil in a saucepan, then slowly add the couscous while stirring. Add three hazelnut-sized pieces of butter and cook over medium heat for a final 2-3 minutes. Dice the onion and garlic and sauté in a pan. Add the sweetcorn and mushrooms and fry everything briefly. Then add the minced meat and season with curry, salt, and pepper to taste – everything should be a little spicy. Of course, other spices can be used as well. Finally, add the couscous to the pan and heat briefly. Caution! The couscous will absorb all the liquid, so there is a risk that some of it will burn! Now it is time to fill the wraps.
