Couscous for grilling

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g couscous, instant
  • 300 ml water
  • 50 g peas, frozen
  • 5 tbsp mild ajvar
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

without cooking

Place the couscous in a bowl. Bring the water to a boil and pour it over the couscous, season with salt. Add the peas and stir. Let it swell for about 10 minutes. Then stir in the ajvar and season with salt and pepper to taste. It’s super quick to make and delicious for a barbecue or as a quick side dish. The peas can also be substituted for chickpeas or other vegetables.
