Couscous with minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g couscous
  • 300 ml vegetable stock
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 140 g peas from the can
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 pinch(s) sweet paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Place the couscous in a bowl. Bring 300 ml of vegetable stock to a boil in a kettle, pour it over the couscous, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Fry the ground beef in a non-stick pan until crumbly. Add the mustard and ketchup and stir to combine. Peel the carrot and cut into small pieces. Place the peas in a sieve and rinse. Add the carrots and peas to the pan, mix with the sour cream, and finally season with paprika.
