Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 4 sausages (Frankfurter sausages)
  • 8 rolls, long
  • 1 can beans, (baked beans, 225g)
  • 100 g cheese, grated Gruyère or Emmental

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

To heat, place the frankfurters in gently boiling water for 3 minutes. Halve the buns lengthwise and hollow out the insides. Cut the frankfurters into 2 cm pieces and arrange evenly on the buns. Top with the beans and sprinkle with grated cheese. Grill under the hot grill until the cheese is melted and golden brown. Let cool for 2 minutes.
