Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g crabs (North Sea crabs) or shrimps
- 150 ml white wine
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 shallots
- 20 g herb butter
- basil
- Parsley
- oregano
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 cups of cream
- 500g penne

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Pasta in tomato cream sauce with crab
Boil the pasta water and finish cooking the penne while you prepare the sauce. First, sauté the crab or shrimp in herb butter with the onions and garlic. Deglaze with white wine and remove after about 2 minutes (otherwise, they will dry out). Add tomato paste and top up with cream. Season with salt and pepper and bring the sauce back to a boil. Wash and chop the herbs and return them to the sauce along with the previously removed crab/shrimp. Fold in the cooked pasta.
