Cranberry Gin & Tonic

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 part gin
  • 1 part cranberry juice
  • some ice cubes
  • 1 piece(s) lemon(s) (lemon wedge)
  • Tonic water, well chilled
  • some cranberry juice
  • some sugar
  • n. B. Lemon peel, spirally cut

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Long drink, made quickly

Pour the gin and cranberry juice into a glass and fill the glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes. Squeeze a lemon wedge over the top, top with well-chilled tonic water, add the lemon wedge to the glass if desired, and garnish with lemon peel. If you like, garnish with a sugar rim: Pour some cranberry juice onto a small, shallow plate and sugar onto a second plate. Before filling, dip the rim of the glass first into the cranberry juice, then into the sugar. A little spiralized lemon peel also works well as a garnish. Note: You don’t need a particularly fine gin for this long drink, as the cranberry juice and a large amount of tonic water dominate the flavor.
