Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 360 g cranberries, fresh
  • 125 g sugar
  • 375 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

classic Thanksgiving side dish

Bring the berries to a boil in a covered saucepan with 375 ml water and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and strain the berries into a bowl. Transfer the berry puree to a clean saucepan and boil with the sugar for a few minutes until dissolved. Skim off the skims, pour into a mold, and let cool. If desired, turn the jelly out to serve. It tastes great with turkey.
