Turkey breast with apricot sauce

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 ½ kg turkey (turkey breast), turkey breast also works
  • 1 jar apricot jam
  • 3 tsp mustard (Dijon mustard), medium hot
  • Fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

as an alternative to the whole turkey for the Thanksgiving dinner

Lightly salt and pepper the turkey breast and cook it in a roasting pan in the oven (180 to 200 degrees Celsius) for about two hours. Mix the apricot jam with the mustard and spread it over the meat. Bake for another 15 minutes, until the coating is lightly browned and shiny.
