Cream Cheese Brownies

The perfect cream cheese brownies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 120 g Dark chocolate
  • 100 g Butter
  • 130 g Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 80 g Flour

For the cream cheese mixture:

  • 1 Egg
  • 250 g Cream cheese
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  1. Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan over medium heat. Stirring occasionally. Allow to cool slightly. Whisk the brown sugar and eggs, then stir in the chocolate. Finally stir in the flour briefly.
  2. For the cream cheese mixture, mix all the ingredients together until creamy. Pour two thirds of the dark dough into a prepared loaf pan (20 x 20 cm) and spread the cream cheese mixture on top. Spread the rest of the dark dough on top and make a light marble pattern with a fork. The cream cheese mass is pretty runny, that’s how it should be.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 30 – 35 minutes. No longer, otherwise the brownies will be too dry. Let cool and then cut into small cubes.
