Cream Cheese Cookies with Poppy Seeds

The perfect cream cheese cookies with poppy seeds recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Flour
  • 250 g Soft butter
  • 150 g Sugar white
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 3 Egg yolk
  • 1 packet Poppy seed baking
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until frothy. Add the flour, cream cheese and egg yolks and stir in. Now chill the dough for an hour.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut rectangles about 5 by 5 cm. Place the rectangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Put some poppy seeds in the middle and press two opposite sides together.
  3. Place the baking sheet in the oven preheated to 180 degrees (top – bottom heat) and bake for about 20 minutes. After the baking time, place on a cake rack and let cool down.
