Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry, 500 g
  • 1 package of herb cream cheese, 300 g
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Caraway seeds
  • Salt, coarse, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Roll out the puff pastry, cut into small triangles, and spread each triangle with about 1 teaspoon of herb cream cheese. Roll up the triangles and shape into croissants. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with salt or caraway seeds. Bake the croissants in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 12 minutes, until they are the desired brown color. They’re delicious both hot and cold.
