Chicken thighs in Coca-Cola sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 onion(s)
  • some olive oil
  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • some paprika powder
  • some salt and pepper
  • 300 ml cola
  • 500 ml tomato(s), strained
  • 1 tsp, levelled sugar
  • some rosemary, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Finely dice the bell peppers and onion. Heat a little olive oil in a pan and fry both for a few minutes. Add the chicken thighs and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Brown on both sides. Deglaze with Coca-Cola. Add the tomatoes, sugar, and rosemary and simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve with salad and fries or baguette.
