Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g mushrooms
- 250 ml cream
- 150 ml milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 100 ml chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp frozen mixed herbs
- 2 small shallots
- salt and pepper

Super tasty with steaks and the like.
Finely dice the shallots, trim and slice the mushrooms. Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the shallots and mushrooms. Deglaze with milk, cream, and a little stock. Season with herbs, salt, and pepper, and simmer over medium heat until a nice creamy sauce forms. If desired, thin the cream with a little stock.
