Cream roulades with mandarins

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 beef roulade(s) each 150 g
  • 100 g ham, raw
  • 1 small can/mandarin orange(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 125 ml white wine
  • 125 ml sweet cream
  • 2 tsp flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pack of cream cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Top the roulades with ham slices and spread with cream cheese. Place a tablespoon of mandarin oranges, some crushed garlic, and pepper on each slice of meat. Roll up the meat, secure with wooden skewers, and season with salt all over. Fry in hot oil until browned. Add the remaining mandarin oranges and juice, reduce the juice in an uncovered pan. Pour in the white wine and simmer the roulades, covered, over low heat for about 2 hours. Thicken the meat juices with cream and flour. Serve with croquettes and chicory salad with mandarin oranges.
