Cream Sauce with Bacon

The perfect cream sauce with bacon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Cream 30% fat
  • 200 g Milk
  • 200 g Beef stock
  • 200 g Mushrooms
  • 100 g White wine
  • 80 g Bacon cubes
  • 0,5 Onion
  • 0,5 Clove of garlic
  • 0,5 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Food starch
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  1. Quarter the mushrooms, fry them in a pan without fat and then store them in a plate. Fry the cubes of bacon with the onion and garlic clove cut into small pieces without any additional fat, add sugar. Deglaze with white wine and let it boil off completely. Dissolve about 2-3 teaspoons of cornstarch (corn starch) with a little water, mix a small portion into the milk. Add the beef stock with cream / milk, add the mushrooms and bring to the boil before the sauce is bound with the remaining cornstarch. Season with salt and pepper and a little cayenne pepper.
