Creamed carrots

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg carrot(s), grated, sliced
  • 4 shallots, peeled and finely diced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, peeled and finely diced
  • 50 g butter
  • n. B. water
  • 25 cl cream
  • some chervil
  • some salt
  • some sugar
  • some black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Carrots à la cream

Sauté the onion and garlic in the butter. Add the carrots. Cover halfway with water, season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Then cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in some chervil and the cream and simmer for another 10 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and serve.
