Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1,000 g beans, green (green beans), cleaned (strings removed), finely chopped
- 4 potatoes, diced
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
- Garlic, squeezed
- salt and pepper
- Vegetable stock (cubes)
- 1 cup sour cream, according to taste
- 2 tbsp flour
- Dill, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
(green beans with cream)
Throw the green beans, potatoes, and onions into a pot, fill with water to cover the vegetables, season with salt, pepper, and crumble in one or two vegetable stock cubes (depending on the quantity). Cover and simmer until the beans and potatoes are tender. Mix the cream with the flour, adding a few tablespoons of broth if desired to make the cream and flour mixture easier to mix; of course, no lumps should form. Stir into the green bean soup and bring to a boil; it should be slightly thick. If necessary, add a little vegetable stock (and/or a few dashes of soup seasoning), add crushed garlic, and chopped dill, and you’re done! We’ll serve it with black bread!
