Creamed mushrooms with pasta – a different take

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 500 g mushrooms, brown
  • 1 dashes white wine
  • 1 cube of stock, fat
  • 250 ml Ayran
  • 80 g cream cheese, low-fat
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sauté the onions until translucent and lightly browned. Add the mushrooms and, once they’ve softened slightly, deglaze with a splash of white wine. Add the stock cube. Cook the pasta as usual. Stir the cream cheese and ayran into the mushroom mixture. Then let the whole thing simmer for a moment on the lowest heat. Add the cooked pasta and remove from the heat. Finally, stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
