Creamed schnitzel

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 beef schnitzels
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • Flour, for turning
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ liter broth (soup), clear
  • Fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Flour the schnitzel on both sides and fry. Fry the onion. Remove the meat, add the broth, and stir in the mustard. When the broth is boiling, add the schnitzel and simmer for an hour. Remove the schnitzel, stir in the sour cream, and season with salt and pepper.
