Creamed Spinach
The perfect creamed spinach recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 750 g Fresh spinach
- 1 small Onion
- 0,5 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Whole-wheat flour
- 0,5 tsp Sea salt
- 1 pinch Ground ginger
- 1 pinch Dried thyme
- 200 ml Sour cream
- Wash the spinach well, drain it and boil it with water and the chopped onion for a short time so that it just collapses. Now pour into a blender and chop.
- Return to the pan, stir whole wheat flour with a little water until smooth, add and bring to the boil briefly.
- Remove from the stove, season with salt, ginger and thyme and fold in sour cream.
