  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s), frozen or fresh, or other meat
  • 250 g fresh mushrooms (brown if possible)
  • 2 cups cream (or replace 1 cup with milk)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth, instant
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • garlic powder
  • nutmeg
  • 4 sprigs of parsley
  • 1 tsp tomato paste (optional)
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 50 ml white wine (optional)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the meat into small, fine strips. Dice the onion. Don’t wash the mushrooms; just brush them and cut them into slices or quarters. Brown the meat on all sides in the margarine and season well with salt, pepper, instant broth, paprika, garlic, and nutmeg. Add the onions and mushrooms and fry vigorously until they reach a nice brown color. If desired, add tomato paste and fry briefly. Add 50 ml of white wine and bring to a boil. Pour in a cup of cream and reduce, stirring a few times. Pour in the second cup of cream (or milk) and reduce again slightly; the sauce should be slightly creamy. Add the chopped parsley, season to taste, and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve with rice, pasta, or chips and a fresh salad.
