Creamy cream cheese spread

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 180 ml whipped cream
  • 200 ml double cream cheese
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Cayenne pepper
  • possibly chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Chop the onion very (!) finely. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form, then stir in the onions. Gradually stir in the cream cheese, continuing to whisk continuously. Finally, season with cayenne pepper. The spread should now be super fluffy. Sprinkle with chives if desired. It tastes delicious on fresh bread or rolls, and here’s a real insider tip: If you eat it on bread or rolls, add a slice of smoked ham. This was always a hit at our company breakfast, and all the employees would crave for weeks until the next breakfast. The recipe is a rough estimate; I go by feel.
