Creamy leek chicken

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 4 thin spring onions
  • 1 half onion(s), red
  • 2 slices of raw ham
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 100 g crème fraîche with herbs
  • 2 slices of butter cheese or Gouda
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • n. B. Caraway
  • e.g. nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Slice the spring onions into thin rings. Finely chop the red onion. Cut or tear the prosciutto and cheese into small pieces. Heat a pan with a little oil and brown the chicken with seasonings to taste. Just before the chicken is cooked through, add the red onion and prosciutto. Sauté briefly until translucent. Add the leek and fry briefly. Then add the cream and crème fraîche. Once the crème fraîche has melted, add the cheese. Then simmer until the desired consistency is reached. If you prefer it thinner, you can add a little milk; if you prefer it thicker, add another slice of cheese.
