Creamy salsa ribbon pasta

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 600 g chicken
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 bottle of chili tomato sauce
  • 2 bags of mozzarella
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • possibly chili flakes
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

simple and spicy

First, wash the meat and pat dry, then cut into small cubes and fry in a little olive oil. Season with the spices. Be careful not to overheat it, as the sauce will also be quite spicy. Meanwhile, cook the tagliatelle according to the package instructions. When the pasta is ready, drain it and return it to the pot. Add the browned meat, heavy cream, and sauce. Mix everything together and simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes. Add a little more seasoning if desired (for those who like spicy food). Stir the pasta regularly to prevent it from burning. Once the cream has been absorbed into the pasta and the sauce is creamy, shred the mozzarella and stir it into the pasta. Just before serving, halve the tomatoes and stir in. They should be just warm, but not too mushy (unless, of course, you prefer that way).
