Creamy veal strips with carrots

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 400 g veal escalope
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 125 ml broth
  • 125 ml white wine
  • 2 bunch of dill, 1 bunch is enough, depending on your taste
  • 100 ml whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Thinly slice the carrots and dice the onion. Cut the meat into strips and fry in hot oil. Season with salt and pepper, and remove from the pan. Sauté the onion and carrots, then season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with flour, sauté, cover with broth and wine, and cook for about 10 minutes. Roughly chop the dill, add it along with the cream and meat, and bring to a boil briefly. This dish goes well with pasta, rice, or buttered potatoes.
