Clean and wash the cauliflower and divide it into florets. Clean the carrots and slice them thinly. Bring about 1/2 liter of lightly salted water to a boil, add the cauliflower, cover and cook for about 8 minutes, then add the carrots and cook for another 4 minutes, drain, reserving about 1/8 liter of liquid. Finely dice the onion. Melt the clarified butter in a pan, add the minced meat and mash with a fork. Add the onion and fry. Season with salt, pepper, curry powder, and thyme. Remove from the heat and season with paprika to taste. Alternate the cauliflower, carrots, and minced meat in a tall, greased dish. Heat the oil in a saucepan, brown the bacon, and add the flour while stirring; there should be no lumps! Pour in the cauliflower liquid and milk, stirring constantly, then let it cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the melted cheese flakes, stir until dissolved, and bring to a boil. Pour the cheese sauce over the vegetables and minced meat. Place the dish in a cold oven and bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) or 180°C (fan oven) for about 35 minutes.
