Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 pack of yeast (dry yeast)
  • 3 tbsp sour cream (or creme fraiche)
  • some salt
  • Powdered sugar / vanilla for rolling

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Rub the flour with yeast and butter. Mix in the egg yolks, cream, and salt. Using a dough mixer, knead the dough until smooth. Knead thoroughly by hand. Chill for about 20 minutes. Then roll out thinly and cut out triangles or hearts (sides about 7 cm long). Roll them up from the wide side to the point. Place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake at 160°C (fan oven) for about 10-12 minutes. Then roll in vanilla/icing sugar.
