Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pumpkin(s) (Hokkaido)
  • 5 tbsp oil (walnut oil)
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 1 tsp herbal salt
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Peel the pumpkin and cut into pieces. Make a marinade from oil, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic cloves, sugar, honey, and herb salt. Marinate the pumpkin pieces in it for 2 hours. After the marinating time, remove the pumpkin pieces and place them on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 150°C for about 45 minutes.
