Crockpot: Chicken Legs with Coconut Beans and Mushrooms
The perfect crockpot: chicken legs with coconut beans and mushrooms recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 piece Chicken legs
- 750 g Green beans
- 250 g Fresh mushrooms
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 toe Garlic
- 2 Discs Ginger
- 400 g Coconut milk
- Curry
- Pepper
- Salt
- Place beans, mushrooms, chopped onions, ginger slices and crushed garlic clove in the crockpot
- Place the chicken drumsticks on top
- Mix coconut milk, curry, pepper and salt in a separate bowl
- Pour the coconut milk mixture over the legs and bean and mushroom mixture
- Set the rockpot to “Low” and cook for 8 hours
- (If you want, you can briefly sear the legs in the pan before adding them. According to my recipe, they look pale, but still taste really good.)
