Children’s Smartis Cake
The perfect children’s smartis cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Cake base
- 150 g Soft butter
- 4 piece Eggs
- 130 g Sugar
- 75 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 200 g Mixed almonds
- 1 major role Smarties
- 0,5 Glass Nut nougat cream
Cake cream
- 600 g Whipped cream
- 3 packet Cream stiffener
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 major role Smarties
Decoration
The cake base
- Mix the butter and sugar until frothy. Add eggs one at a time. Mix the flour, baking powder, gem almonds and (the Smarties previously cut into small pieces in the freezer bag with a rolling pin) Smarties crumbs and stir into the batter. Smooth the dough in a greased springform pan and bake at 160 ° for about 30-35 minutes. Heat the nut and nougat cream glass (water bath or briefly in the warm oven). Take the cake base out of the oven and brush with the nut nougat cream and then leave to cool.
Cake cream
- Crumble the smarties again in a freezer bag, but this time into coarse crumbs. In a bowl 400g saws with 2 packets. Beat the cream until stiff. Fold the samrties crumbs into the cream and stir everything well. Spread the mixture on the cake base and cool for about 1 hour.
Decoration
- Take some of the warmed nut nougat cream and sprinkle it on the cake. Whip 200g cream with vanilla sugar and 1 packet of cream stiffener until stiff and use a piping bag to squirt the cream tuffs onto the cake. Decorate as you wish.
