Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 half a packet Vanilla custard powder
  • 100 g Extra fine sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 75 g Butter

For the filling:

  • 250 g Poppy seed baking
  • 250 g Quark 40%
  • 1 half a packet Vanilla custard powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Apple
  • 2 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  • 1st preparation: preheat the oven to 170 degrees; Lightly grease the bottom of an 18 cm springform pan and line the edge with baking paper; Peel the apple, cut it into very fine pieces and mix immediately with the lemon juice.
  • Preparation 2: make a kneading dough from the dough ingredients and wrap it in foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for an hour. Crumble half of the dough into large pieces in the prepared springform pan. Press with the flat of your hand to form a smooth base and form a small edge upwards.
  • For the filling of the poppy seed bakery with quark, stir the rest of the vanilla pudding powder and egg until smooth, fold in the apple pieces and smooth the filling onto the dough. Spread the rest of the kneading dough over the filling and bake the dwarf in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes. Do not remove from the mold until it has cooled down.
