from the ice cream cone iron

Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Add the water and the peeled, pressed garlic clove and prepare a dough. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 2 hours. Sprinkle the work surface with flour. Remove the dough from the bowl, knead thoroughly again, and divide into 8 pieces. Form small balls and roll them out thinly on a floured surface, slightly smaller than the waffle iron. Heat the waffle iron and bake the breads in it for about 2 – 2 1/2 minutes until light brown. At the beginning, cover the waffle iron tightly with your hands for about 15 seconds to prevent the dough from rising too high. Let the breads cool on a rack. The bread will be hard and crispy. The waffles are a great accompaniment to a salad, eaten with a dip, or just for snacking.
