Cucumber Nests

The perfect cucumber nests recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 medium sized Salad cucumbers – approx. 40 nests
  • 3 packet Cream cheese double cream setting or Philadelphia double cream setting
  • 1 a cup Crème fraîche with herbs
  • 1 a cup Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 3 thickness Garlic cloves pressed
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 Knife point Cayenne pepper
  • 3 packet Smoked salmon
  • 1 bunch Parsely
  • 1 Mixed salad to garnish
  1. First, wash the cucumbers thoroughly and dry them. Then peel a few strips from the cucumber with the asparagus knife. Then cut each about 4 cm into slices. Hollow out the cucumber slices with a small teaspoon (but carefully) and keep the bottom closed. Now turn the cucumber nests over and place them on a paper towel so that the liquid goes out.
  2. Put the cream cheese in a large bowl and beat the crème fraîche with herbs, crème fraîche, pressed garlic cloves, salt and pepper and the cayenne pepper vigorously with a mixer or whisk. Must be very creamy, but not too thin.
  3. If the nests are not so wet, use a spoon to put the cream in the piping bag and carefully fill the cucumber with it (the nozzle of the piping bag should not be too small). for the eye)
  4. Place the finished cucumber nests on a serving tray and finish garnishing with lettuce and the remaining salmon and parsley.
