Cucumber salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with sour cream

Peel the cucumber and slice it thinly. Place the cucumber slices in a bowl, season generously with salt, and stir to combine. Let the cucumber slices sit for at least 10-15 minutes. In the meantime, finely chop the onion and set aside. Once the cucumber has sat long enough, squeeze the water out of it with your hands and place it on a separate plate. Rinse the bowl and mix the cucumbers, sour cream, onion, and seasonings in it. (Add a generous amount of salt at the beginning so the salt draws the water out of the cucumber, so you don’t really need to add more later.)
